Hannah Shuler has a degree in art education from Indiana University. She is a printmaker working in the silk-screen medium and has exhibited her work locally and regionally. She works with children with special needs in grades k-3 and is a current instructor at the John Waldron Art Center.
This sculpture represents many of the birds I encounter near and around my country home. When birds wing their way into our sleeping minds, we are released from earth-bound limitations. Our deeper selves are free to fly where there is no limitation or boundary.
